Ghousiya Family Saloon & Spa

Ghousiya Family Saloon & Spa is tucked away in Prafulla Kanan in the Kestopur area. We are over by the VIP More, right next to the Ambrosia Restaurant. It’s a bit of a crowded spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is out for dinner. I call it a family saloon because we get everyone from grandfathers to little kids coming in. It is not one of those high-end spas you find in the malls in Kolkata. We are just a local business trying to do a good job. The space inside is okay, with separate sections for different things, but it’s nothing too elaborate. I spend most of my day making sure things are running smoothly and talking to the people who walk in. Kestopur is a place where everyone is always moving, so we try to be a place where they can slow down for half an hour. We have some basic spa services, but most people just come for a regular haircut or a shave. The smell from the restaurant next door is usually pretty good, which makes me hungry by the afternoon. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. Word of mouth has always been enough for us since the neighbors know us well. It is just a practical, honest place to get groomed without any unnecessary fuss or high prices. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
