Ananda Bazar is a very lively place to be every single day. We are situated right in the middle of all that activity. Friendly And Co has been operating from this exact spot for a good bit of time now. It is mostly just us handling the daily paperwork and talking to the regular people who stop by the shop. The market can be very loud in the mornings when everyone is setting up their stalls. Our space is quite small but it works well enough for what we need to do. We usually keep the main door open so a bit of a breeze comes in during the heat. People often stop by just to ask for directions or have a quick chat while they are out doing their grocery shopping. We do not really do anything flashy or high-tech here. It is just a standard business setup with some old desks and a few tall filing cabinets. Sometimes the rain makes the street right outside a bit messy and muddy, but that is normal for this part of town. We have seen the market change a lot over the years, with new shops coming and going all the time. We just stay here doing our own thing. It is a simple life for us. We do not have fancy uniforms or big glowing signs. Just the name painted above the door. Most of our day is spent checking ledgers or talking to our neighbors. It is a community vibe here.
