Our office is in Todi Mansion, which is a well-known building on Lu T Sun Sarani in Kolkata. We are way up on the 13th floor, specifically in Room 1319. Todi Mansion is one of those big, busy buildings where there is always something going on. The lobby is usually a bit chaotic with people waiting for the lifts. Once you get up to our floor, it’s a bit quieter. Our office is a simple one where we do financial consulting. We have a few desks, some computers, and a lot of files. It’s not the kind of place with modern art on the walls or expensive furniture. We have the basics that help us do our job. Most of our day is spent talking to people about their financial plans or going through rows of data. It can be a bit tiring being so high up, but the space is good for us. We often have lunch at our desks or go to one of the small places nearby for some street food. There are no big bosses in suits telling everyone what to do. We are just a team of people who know about finance and want to work in a practical environment. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just look at the numbers and give our honest thoughts. It’s a busy life in a busy building, and we just keep moving along with the rest of the city, day in and day out.
