Floras Beauty Parlour

You can find Floras Beauty Parlour at 29 Lake Road in Kolkata. We are very close to Charu Chandra College, so we see a lot of young people walking past our door every single day. The 700029 area is a nice part of the city to be in, and we've been here for a good while now. Our parlour isn't anything extraordinary to look at from the outside, but it’s been a steady part of the street for a long time. We keep things very basic here. There are some old mirrors on the walls and the floor has seen better days, but it’s clean and it works for what we need. We don't spend money on fancy decor or big signs. Usually, we just have the door open to let a bit of a breeze in, though Lake Road can get quite dusty in the dry months. It’s a local business through and through. We know when the college breaks for lunch because the street suddenly fills up with noise and movement. Most of our visitors are people who live in the nearby blocks and have been coming to us for years. We don't have a website or a big marketing plan. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Sometimes the tea stall nearby brings us a cup in the afternoon when things are slow. That’s the kind of place this is. It’s practical and honest. We just do hair and skin stuff the way we’ve always done it.
