Fashio & Desig Company

We've been at 77 C. R. Avenue for a good while now. The name on the door says Fashio & Desig Company, though most folks just know us as the place on the corner. It's a busy spot with lots of cars going by all day. Inside, things are usually a bit messy because there is always something being cut or stitched. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's more of a workspace where we get things done. Some days are quieter than others, but there’s usually a radio playing in the back. My cousin started this place and I just sort of took over the daily stuff. People stop in to ask for specific things, and we do what we can with the fabrics we have on hand. It isn't a big operation. We just have a few machines and some tables. The windows get dusty pretty fast from the street traffic outside. We try to keep things organized, but when a big order comes in, the floor gets covered in scraps. It's just how it goes here. Most of our neighbors are shops too, so we all know each other. Sometimes we trade help or just chat during tea breaks. If you walk down C. R. Avenue, you can't miss the building. It has that old style to it. We don't spend much time on decorations. We just focus on the work right in front of us.
