Fancy Saloon

Fancy Saloon is right there on Station Road in the Durganagar part of Kolkata. Despite the name, we are not all that fancy, really. It is just a name we have had for a long time. The shop is in a busy spot because of the station nearby. People are always rushing past. We get a lot of commuters who drop in for a quick trim before heading home. It is a small space, but we have managed to fit in what we need. We do the usual haircuts and shaves. Kolkata is always humid, so we try to keep the fans going as much as we can. The noise from the station is something you just get used to after a while. We do not spend money on big posters or fancy lights. We just keep the scissors sharp and the place swept. Most of our customers are locals from Durganagar who have been coming to us for years. We know their families and how they like their hair done. It is a steady kind of work. We are not trying to be the biggest salon in the city. We just want to stay open and keep our regulars happy. It is a simple, local business on a busy street. Come by if you are near the station.
