Our office is tucked away in the Sagar Estate Building over on N.C. Dutta Sarani. We are on the 3rd floor, in room number 2. This part of Kolkata, near the central business areas, is always buzzing with activity. Exoswift Properties Private Limited is a small operation, and we like it that way. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a bunch of people in suits. It’s just a place where we get the work done. Most of our time is spent on the phone or going through the stacks of documents that come with dealing in property. The building is an older one, which gives it a bit of a classic Kolkata feel. We walk up to the third floor and settle in for the day, usually starting with a bit of cleaning up and checking the messages. N.C. Dutta Sarani is a busy street, especially during the middle of the day, so it can be a bit of a scramble to get in and out sometimes. We don't use any complicated jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We are just real estate people doing our jobs in a city we know well. There are always new challenges with property laws or finding the right spot for someone, so we just keep at it. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, usually with a lot of tea and conversation to keep us going.
