Excel Consultancy is tucked away over at 39 Vivekananda Rd, right near Girish Park. If you know the area in West Bengal, you know it stays pretty busy around here. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good bit now. Our office isn't anything you'd see in a magazine, just a practical space where we sit and go through files. Kolkata 07 is a lively part of town, so there is always something going on outside our window. We mostly just focus on the tasks people bring to us. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always going. We aren't big on those polished presentations or long-winded speeches. Usually, it's just us sitting around a table, talking things through. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that. People stop in, we chat, and we try to help out with whatever is needed. It’s a very local kind of vibe. You’ll find some old registers and plenty of pens scattered around. We like being in Girish Park because everything is close by. It’s a straightforward setup. No one here wears a suit unless they really have to. We just want to finish the day's work and head home like everyone else. That’s the way we’ve always done it at Excel Consultancy. We aren't looking to change much or move anywhere else soon.
