Ethnic Boutique

Our place is called Ethnic Boutique, and we are located at Sarisha Ashram More. It’s right there in Diamond Harbour, Kolkata. If you are familiar with West Bengal, you know Diamond Harbour is quite a distance from the main city center, but it’s a very active spot. Being near the Ashram More means there is always a lot of foot traffic and vehicles passing by. Our boutique is a local shop for the people living around here. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just a room with some shelves and racks full of ethnic wear. We try to keep things simple and honest. The weather can get quite hot and humid being so close to the river, but we keep the shop open for whoever needs something. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The people in Diamond Harbour know us, and we know them. It’s a small-town feel even though we are technically part of the larger area. We spend the day handling the clothes and chatting with the neighbors. Sometimes it gets dusty because of the road, but that’s just how it is. We aren’t a big chain, just a single shop at the crossroads. If you’re heading towards the river or coming from the city, you’ll see the Ashram More and you can find us right there. It is a straightforward business for the locals around here.
