Essma Impex

Essma Impex is located at 22/1, Shiv Thakur Lane. If you’ve never been down this lane, it’s one of those narrow, winding streets that’s always packed with people and handcarts moving goods. It can be quite a challenge just to get to the door some mornings. Our space is tucked away in this busy neighborhood, and we’ve been here long enough that we know all the neighbors and the local tea sellers. We deal with various import and export items, and our office is usually full of boxes and samples waiting to be checked. It’s not a very large place, and sometimes it feels like we are tripping over things, but we manage to keep it moving. We don't have any fancy decorations or a glossy brochure to show people. We just sit at our desks, work the phones, and handle the logistics of moving products. It’s a lot of mundane work, checking invoices and tracking shipments, but it keeps us busy. The light in the lane isn't great, so it’s always a bit dim inside, but it stays cooler that way during the summer months. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure our work is done right and our suppliers are happy. It’s a small operation in a very old part of the city, and that suits us just fine.
