Emcon Industries

Emcon Industries is located on the 4th floor of 14/2 Old China Bazar Street. If you’ve ever been to Old China Bazar Street, you know how packed and narrow the lanes can be. It’s a struggle just to get through the crowd sometimes. Our office is in an old building, so the stairs are a bit steep and the elevator doesn't always feel like it wants to move. Once you get up to the fourth floor, it’s a bit quieter than the street below, but not by much. We have a modest setup here. It’s mostly just desks, shelves full of samples, and some old filing cabinets that have been around longer than I have. We deal with various industrial products, and the space is often filled with samples that we’re checking or preparing to send out. It’s not a polished corporate environment. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the windows are a bit grimy from the city air. But it’s a functional place where we get our work done. We spend most of our time on the phone or writing out orders by hand. It’s a traditional way of doing business, and we like it that way. We know the other people in the building, and there’s a sense of community even if everyone is busy with their own thing. It’s just how we operate day in and day out.
