Eastern Trading Corporation

You have to climb up to the second floor to find us. We are in Room Number 226 at 77 Netaji Subhash Road. It’s an old building, the kind with thick walls and narrow hallways. Eastern Trading Corporation has been tucked away in this corner for quite a while. The stairs are a bit steep, so you get your exercise for the day. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and old wooden desks. We do a lot of trading, so there are always papers and samples laying around. It’s not a modern glass office. It has more of an old-school feel to it. The fan hums all day to keep the air moving. We know all the other tenants on this floor. It’s like a little community of its own. Outside on the road, it’s constant noise from the cars and the people. But up here, it’s a bit more settled. We spend our days on the phone or writing out orders. We don't have a big sign outside, just the name on the door. People who know us know where to go. We've stayed here because it's central and it suits the way we work. No need for anything flashier. We just keep track of the trades and make sure the goods get where they're going. It's a steady life here on the second floor. Sometimes the elevator doesn't work, so we just take the stairs and keep moving. That's just how things go for us. We've been in this room for years.
