This part of the city has a lot of history, and you can see it in the older buildings and the way the streets are laid out. Our office is a simple place. We have got some old wooden furniture and stacks of files that seem to grow every week. It is not the kind of place with bright lights or glass walls. It feels more like an old workshop where people actually do things. Being on Banshi Dutta Road means we deal with a lot of foot traffic outside. The rainy season is always a challenge because the road gets messy, but we are used to it. We spend our days coordinating different orders and making sure everything is tracked properly. It is a lot of phone calls and emails. We have a few windows that look out onto the street, so we see the vendors and the daily commute. It can get quite hot in the summer, so we keep the windows open for whatever breeze we can get. We are not trying to be anything big or corporate. We just have a job to do and we do it from this corner of the world. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so everyone knows each other. It is a decent place to spend the day working.
