We’ve been here in Haltu for a while now, right on Kishalay School Road. It's a busy little corner of Kolkata. Being at 14 A means we see the school kids and the local crowd every single day. We deal with equities, which basically means a lot of paperwork and looking at screens. It's not the most exciting thing to talk about at dinner, but it’s what we do. Our office isn't huge or fancy with glass walls like the ones you see in Salt Lake or Sector V. It’s just a regular place where we get the work done. People around here know the address because it's close to the P O Haltu post office. Most of the time, the fans are humming and we’re just sorting through folders or checking market numbers. It gets humid in the summers, but that’s just Kolkata for you. We don't really do the whole big marketing thing. Most folks who come to us are local or they heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the regulations. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, really. Sometimes the internet is slow or the tea guy is late, but we manage. If you’re walking down Kishalay School Road, you might miss the sign if you aren't looking, but we’re there at 14 A, just doing our daily bit in the finance world.
