We have different floors for the different parts of the business, with some people focusing on the tea side and others on the petrochemical side. It’s an interesting mix of industries to have under one roof. We spend our days dealing with a lot of paperwork, coordinating with the tea gardens, and managing the chemical production schedules. It’s a busy office, but it doesn't feel like those cold, glass-and-steel corporate buildings. There’s a bit of character to the place. We have our meetings in rooms that have seen many years of business discussions. Most of the staff have been here for years and they know the history of the company well. We usually have tea together in the afternoons, which is a nice tradition. We don’t go in for big advertisements or flashy presentations. We just stay focused on managing our estates and our plants from here in the city. It’s a steady way of working that has served us well over the years. We just keep things moving from our desks at Woodburn Park.
