Desun Hospital

Desun Hospital sits right at Desun More in the Kasba Golpark area, just off the EM Bypass. If you’ve ever driven down the Bypass, you’ve probably seen the building standing there near the intersection. It’s a busy spot. There is always the sound of sirens and heavy trucks moving toward the bypass. We spend our shifts walking these hallways. The floors are that hard, shiny tile that makes your shoes squeak if they are even a little bit wet. Kasba Golpark is a loud neighborhood, but inside it feels a bit different. We have the usual stuff you’d expect, like metal chairs in the waiting areas and those big fluorescent lights overhead that hum if you listen closely. We don't really think about the decor much. We’re more focused on checking the charts and making sure the supplies are where they should be. The elevators are busy all day, going up and down between the floors. From the upper windows, you can see the traffic backed up at Desun More. It’s a constant stream of cars. We get our tea from the small stall nearby when we can slip away for five minutes. The air always smells a bit like cleaning fluid and laundry. It’s a big place, and it takes a while to learn all the shortcuts through the different wings. We just keep our heads down and do the work in this corner of the city.
