We are tucked away on the second floor of an old building on Lindsay Street, specifically in Suite number 10 at 12/1. To get to us, you have to go up some stairs that have seen better days. The building has that old city feel to it, with thick walls and high ceilings. We focus on safety shoes, so the room is full of heavy boots with steel toes and thick soles. They take up a lot of room and they are heavy to move around. The office is not very big, so we have to be careful not to knock things over. There is a lot of paperwork involved in what we do, and the desks are usually covered in invoices and shipping notes. We can hear the street noise from below, especially the trams and the people shouting. It is a lively part of town. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, and we have been meaning to get it fixed for months. We just stay busy with the orders coming in. It is mostly us and a couple of helpers making sure the right sizes go into the right boxes. We do not have a big sign out front or anything. You just have to know where to find us in the suite. It is a quiet kind of work compared to the busy street outside. We just keep the boots moving and try to stay on top of the inventory.
