Deep Poddar Hospital And Medical Research Ltd.

Our building is over at 77/1 Humayun Kabir Sarani in Block-G of New Alipore. We have been here quite a while now. The name is a bit long, Deep Poddar Hospital And Medical Research Ltd., but most people just call us the hospital on the corner. We do have a research side to things, which means we have some extra labs and people in white coats walking around looking at data. But at the end of the day, we are just a place where people come when they aren't feeling well. New Alipore is a nice area and we try to fit in without making too much of a fuss. The hospital has several floors and it can be a bit confusing to find the right room if you haven't been here before. We have a lot of nurses who have worked here for decades. They know where everything is kept and how to handle the busy shifts. We don't really have a big fancy lobby with fountains or anything like that. It’s a practical space. We spend our time on the medical work instead of decorating. The street outside can get pretty crowded, so it’s always a bit of a scramble during shift changes. We see patients from all over this part of the city. It’s a lot of responsibility but we just take it one patient at a time. No big promises, just regular hospital work every single day.
