Decency Saloon

You can find Decency Saloon at B/6/H/22/1 on the ground floor. We are located at 6 No Dumdum Road in the Ghughudanga part of Kolkata. We are very close to Kumar Ashitosh School, so we get a lot of students coming in after their classes are over. The area is always buzzing with people, bikes, and rickshaws. My shop isn’t very big, but we make the most of the space we have. I’ve got the hair cutting tools laid out on a small shelf under the mirror. It’s a bit of an old building, so the walls have some character and a few cracks. I spend most of my day standing on my feet. I don’t have a fancy website or any of that. People just know we are here from word of mouth. When the school bell rings, I know it’s about to get busy for a few hours. Parents bring their boys in for a trim, and we have to work fast to keep everyone happy. On rainy days, the water sometimes splashes near the entrance because the street floods, but we keep a mop handy. It’s a simple life running a salon in Ghughudanga. I’ve been doing this for years and I know the rhythm of the street and the people. We just provide a place for a decent haircut without any fuss or extra talk. It's just a regular shop.
