We are based in Kasba at No. 145 Bose Pukur Purbo Para. Deb Creations has been around for a while and we’ve stayed in this same spot. It’s a typical neighborhood area and we like it that way. We aren't a big company with a board of directors or anything like that. It’s just a small group of us working in these rooms every day. The street outside is always busy, especially being so close to the pukur. You can hear people talking and cars honking all through the day. We do a lot of creative work and most of it is done by hand. It’s a slow process but we don't like to rush because that’s when you make mistakes. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up a project for a customer. The lighting isn't always perfect, but we've got enough lamps to see what we're doing. We have piles of materials and fabrics everywhere you look. It might look like a mess to someone else, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We don't spend our money on fancy furniture or decorations for the office. Most of what we earn goes back into buying better tools and materials. People in the neighborhood know who we are and they see us working every day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to make things that people find useful. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit and makes a clicking sound, but we don't even notice it anymore.
