Damani Udyog

If you go up to the 5th floor at 109, N S Road, you’ll find the office for Damani Udyog. Being that high up means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice when it’s hot out. The elevator doesn't always work perfectly, so sometimes we have to take the stairs, which is quite a workout. Our space is mostly functional. We have some desks, a few filing cabinets, and a lot of stuff piled up in the corners. N S Road is a very busy commercial hub, so there is always a lot of energy around the building. We’ve been operating out of this floor for many years. It is mostly just paperwork and phone calls for us. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, maybe just a few old photos and a clock that is a few minutes fast. The team here is small and we’ve all been working together for a long time, so we know each other's habits. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just try to handle the day’s tasks without making too many mistakes. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of visitors, but we manage to find a seat for everyone. Damani Udyog is just our small operation tucked away in a big building. We like it here because it is familiar and it works for us. We usually pack our lunches and eat together while talking about the news.
