Dalia Fashion is up on the 1st floor of the Uttarapan complex, at D S Iii 8. Uttarapan is a big place with lots of different levels, and we’ve been in this particular spot for a while. We have to walk up the stairs every morning to open the shutters. The space is filled with racks of clothes and a small table where we do the billing. It’s not a huge area, so it feels a bit cramped when we get a new shipment in. We spend our time checking the inventory and talking to the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s a friendly enough place, though it can get a bit lonely when the foot traffic is slow. We don't have any bright neon signs or anything like that. It’s just a plain door with our name. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside the shop just to get some air. The lighting in the complex is a bit dim in some corners, but we’ve gotten used to it. We handle all the cleaning and the unpacking ourselves. It’s just basic retail work without any frills. We try to keep the shop tidy, but with all the different fabrics, there’s always something that needs folding. We just take it one day at a time here at Dalia Fashion.
