CROSS MARKETING

Our office is in Room 83 at 161/1 Mahatma Gandhi Road. If you know Kolkata, you know that MG Road is one of those places that never really stops moving. It’s loud, it’s crowded, and it’s full of energy. To get to us, you have to navigate the stairs and the corridors of an old building that has a lot of history in its walls. CROSS MARKETING is basically a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of phone calls. We aren’t some big, polished firm with a glass front. We’re in a room that feels like it’s been part of the city for decades. The walls are a bit faded, and the floorboards sometimes creak when you walk across them. Most of our day is spent talking to people, writing things down, and trying to keep track of all the different projects we have going on. It’s a lot of paperwork and tea. We look out the window and see the yellow taxis and the trams going by, and it reminds us why we like being right in the heart of the city. We don’t have a fancy corporate structure. We’re just a small team working out of Room 83, trying to make things happen. It gets hot in the afternoons, but the overhead fan helps a little. We like the hustle of it all. It’s a real, messy, and honest way to do business. We have lots of coffee and stay late when we need to finish things.
