Coolant

Our place, Coolant, is at 141/1 in Jodhpur Park, right near the Tara News office. Jodhpur Park is a nice area, quite green compared to other parts of the city, which makes coming to work a bit more pleasant. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a ground-floor space with a big door and a few windows. Inside, it’s mostly filled with spare parts, tools, and a couple of desks that are usually covered in loose papers. We spend a lot of our time dealing with cooling systems, so there’s often a bit of grease or water on the floor, which we try to mop up when we can. It’s a practical environment for people who work with their hands. We don't wear uniforms or anything; we just wear whatever is comfortable for the job. Some days are incredibly busy with phones ringing off the hook, and other days we’re just sitting around waiting for a part to arrive. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and the local shopkeepers all know us. We usually get our tea from the small shop at the corner twice a day. It’s a steady routine that keeps us going. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to keep things running cool for whoever needs it. When the day is over, we lock up the gate, check the lights one last time, and head home to get some rest for the next morning.
