Speed Car Decor

We set up Speed Car Decor on Suren Tagore Road because we liked the spot near Gariahat. It’s right near the Gkb Opticals, so most people find us pretty easily. Ballygunge is a busy area, but our little corner stays productive. We spend our days looking at car interiors and figuring out what fits where. It’s not a clean job, you get a lot of scraps and dust everywhere by the end of the day. We don’t have a big showroom with lights. It’s more of a workshop feel where we actually do the work ourselves. My brother and a couple of guys help out. We started with just a few basic items and slowly filled up the shelves. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the weather is too humid to work fast, but we manage. We don’t really do much talking, we just like to get the mats or the seat covers sorted. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the stock we keep, but we know where everything is. People come by because they want their cars to look a bit better than when they bought them. We don’t promise anything we can’t do. It’s a local business and we like it that way. If the shop is open, someone is usually inside working on a car or checking the inventory.
