Auto Capst Works

You can find us in Khidirpur, right near the Kali Mandir. It’s a very busy area, and the temple brings in a lot of people every day. Auto Capst Works is tucked away there, and we’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while. The bells from the temple are something we hear all the time while we are working on parts. It’s mostly auto-related stuff here, which means our hands are rarely clean. The shop is a bit cramped with all the machinery and the pieces we are working on, but we know where everything is. Khidirpur has its own energy, a bit chaotic but we like it. We aren't the type to have a fancy waiting room or anything. Most people just stand around the shop floor while we talk about what needs doing. It’s a practical setup. We spend a lot of time on the capstan lathes, just turning out pieces. The lighting isn't the best, but we have some old lamps that do the trick. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside quite messy, but work doesn't stop. We just keep the machines going. It’s a basic life, really. We arrive, we work, and we go home. Being near the Kali Mandir gives the place a specific feel that you don't get in the newer industrial parts of town. It feels like a real community where people just work hard.
