Our office is over in Room 78 at 5 Clive Row. It’s an old building, typical for this part of Calcutta. Forge Fabrication (Calcutta) Pvt. Ltd. handles a lot of the technical side of things from this small space. Most of the real work happens elsewhere, but this is where the planning and the phone calls happen. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and working out the numbers for different projects. It gets a bit dusty with all the papers, but we know where everything is. Clive Row is a busy street, so there's always noise outside. We’ve been doing this for a long time now. The team here knows the industry well. We aren't trying to be anything big or flashy. Just a solid group of people making sure the fabrication jobs get handled right. Sometimes the lifts in the building don't work, so we walk up. It’s just part of the day. We handle the paperwork, talk to the factory, and deal with clients who come by. It’s a lot of coordination. You’ll usually find us here from morning until late evening. It’s a practical setup. We don’t need much else besides a desk and a good phone line to keep things moving. We take our work seriously but we don't feel the need to dress it up in fancy talk. It is what it is. It's just how business gets done in this corner of the city.
