Tide Water Oil Co.(I) Ltd. is part of the Andrew Yule & Company Ltd group. We are based at 8, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sarani. The building has a lot of history to it, and you can really feel that when you walk through the doors every morning. It isn't like those glass towers you see popping up everywhere else. We have been operating from here for quite a long time. It’s a busy area, and the streets around Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sarani are always crowded with people and traffic. Inside, we just focus on the daily operations. There is always a lot of paperwork and things to organize because we have been around for so long. We don't really use much corporate lingo here. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing without being told. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Being a group company means there is a certain way we do things, but it’s mostly just practical stuff. We don't have a lot of big meetings that don't lead anywhere. We prefer just getting on with it. The neighborhood has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of that. It’s a solid place to work, even if the traffic nearby is a bit much sometimes. We just keep things moving along and don't worry about being fancy or polished.
