Control Engineering & Automation

Our workshop is located at 6/6A, Netaji Nagar, Tollygunge, in the Regent Estate area. It is a busy part of Kolkata where there is always something being built or repaired. Control Engineering & Automation isn't a flashy tech company with bean bags and espresso machines. It is a place where we work with our hands, dealing with wires, control panels, and various bits of machinery. The floor is usually covered with bits of stripped wire and tools that we are currently using. We have a small desk area where we handle the drawings and the billing, but most of the action happens on the workbenches. Tollygunge is a crowded neighborhood, so getting parts delivered can sometimes be a bit of a headache with the traffic on the narrow streets. We have a few technicians who have been with us for years and they know the quirks of the older systems we often have to fix. It gets pretty warm in the shop, especially during the summer, but we have a couple of strong fans that keep the air moving. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big words to describe what we do. We just take in orders, figure out the engineering problems, and get the panels built or the systems automated as requested. People around Regent Estate know where to find us if they need something technical sorted out. It is just a steady, local business where we focus on getting the job done right.
