Computer Center

Our place, which is simply called Computer Center, is located at 201/1 on Gopal Lal Tagore Road. We are situated right across from Sarada Palace in Alambazar. It is a pretty well-known landmark in this area, so most people don't have any trouble finding their way to us. We have been at this same spot for a very long time, fixing up computers and helping folks with their various technology issues. The shop is usually quite full of old monitors, keyboard parts, and computer towers waiting for someone to take a look at them. It is definitely not the most organized or cleanest shop in the world, but we know exactly where every single tool and cable is hidden. We are not a part of some big national chain; it is just a couple of us working here every single day. We genuinely enjoy the work we do, even on the days when it gets frustrating and a machine refuses to start up. The street outside is always noisy and full of life, especially being so close to Sarada Palace, but we have grown to like the atmosphere. We have gotten to know a lot of the local regulars who stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about a gadget. We never try to sell people stuff they don't actually need. If something can't be fixed, we'll just tell you that straight away and won't waste your time.
