Our shop is at number 26 A on Harish Sikdar Path. It’s right in Bow Bazar, so you can imagine how much noise there is outside with the rickshaws and people everywhere. Inside, it’s a different world with all the computer parts and wires. I spend a lot of time looking at screens or opening up CPU towers. The workbench is usually covered in screws and tools because there’s always something that needs fixing. We have some phones and communication stuff too, but mostly it's about computers. People come in from the market with laptops that won't turn on or internet problems. It’s a small shop, and sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in with all the monitors stacked up, but we manage. I’ve been in Bow Bazar for a long time and I know the local rhythm. We don't do anything special, just repair what’s broken and sell some parts when someone needs them. The lighting in here could be better, but it’s enough to see what I’m doing. You might have to wait a bit if I’m in the middle of a job, but that’s just how it goes. It’s honest work. We see a lot of students and office workers who need their tech sorted out. It’s just a regular place on a busy path, doing what we know how to do best.
