Commercial Enterprises

We are located over in New Alipore, specifically at No. 136 on Jnan Goswami Sarani. Some of the older folks around here still call it No. 13 N, but the name changed a while back. We’re in Block A, which is a fairly nice part of the neighborhood to be in. Commercial Enterprises has been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the streets change quite a bit over the years. The office itself is just a regular building, nothing that stands out too much from the outside. Inside, it’s a bit of a mix of old furniture and some newer stuff we’ve picked up along the way. We don’t really follow a strict dress code or anything like that; we just come in and get to work. Most days involve a lot of checking ledgers and talking to people on the phone. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the birds in the morning before the traffic really picks up. We have a small area where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon slump. It’s a quiet enough operation most of the time, though things can get hectic when we have a lot of deadlines hitting at once. We know the neighbors pretty well, and there’s a sense of community on this block. It’s a practical, honest place to work, and we don't feel the need to make it look like something it isn't.
