Charanasree Footwear

We are located right on Rash Behari Avenue, at 106-B. Most people just look for Lake Mall and we are right there beside it in the Kalighat area. Being next to a big mall means there is always a crowd outside. Charanasree Footwear is a local shop, nothing like those big branded stores inside the mall. We have racks and shelves full of shoes, sandals, and slippers. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when the shop is full. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we stay right here. People come in looking for something comfortable for walking or maybe something for a special occasion. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us showing people what we have on the shelves. Sometimes we chat about the weather or how busy the street is today. It’s a friendly place. We try to keep things simple. You come in, try on a pair, and see how they feel. We know our regulars from the nearby apartments. They trust us because we’ve been here for a long time. The lighting in the shop could probably be brighter, and the floor has some scuffs from all the foot traffic, but it feels like home to us. We open up every morning and stay until the street quiets down at night. That’s just the routine we have followed for years and it suits us.
