Our office is at 115 Cotton Street, which is right in the heart of the 700007 area of Kolkata. If you’ve ever been to Cotton Street, you know how packed and energetic it is. There are traders and goods moving everywhere you look. We work in the middle of all that, handling real estate matters. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in our office because we have so many files and ledgers from over the years. We don't have a polished corporate image. We are just local people working in a local neighborhood. We spend our days talking to shopkeepers and families who need to find a new space or sell an old one. The buildings around here are very old and have a lot of character, but they also come with a lot of paperwork. We spend time sorting out the history of these places so our clients don't have to worry about it as much. It’s noisy and there is always a lot of dust from the street, but we like being where the action is. Most of our work comes from people just dropping by or hearing about us from someone else in the market. We don't make it complicated. We just listen to what’s needed and see what we can find in our books. It is a busy way to live, but we are used to it.
