Central Government Medical Hospital

This is the Central Government Medical Hospital. We are located right on Central Avenue, specifically on Chittaranjan Ave in the Tiretti area of Kolkata. It is a very busy part of the city. There is always a lot of noise and movement outside on Chittaranjan Ave. Being in Tiretti means we are surrounded by a lot of history and old buildings. Our hospital is just one of the many structures along this long stretch of road. We've been operating here for a long time. People come from all over Kolkata because Central Avenue is a major route. It can be hard to find parking sometimes because it's such a crowded spot. We don't really do much in the way of decoration; it's a government building, so things are pretty straightforward and functional. The halls are wide and the walls are plain. Every day, the staff comes in and we just get to work. Tiretti is known for its markets and food, but inside these walls, it’s a different world. We are easy to find if you just follow Chittaranjan Ave. Most locals know where we are because we’ve been a fixture in this part of town for years. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s where we are supposed to be. We just keep things running as best as we can at this Kolkata location. There is always a lot of activity, and we just fit right in on the Ave. It’s just us.
