Over here at 7/3A, Becharam Chatterjee Road in Behala, we spend our time managing Caprigoat Farm Private Limited. Being in Kolkata, specifically the 700034 area, means we’re right in the thick of things. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, running a goat farm operation from this location, but we make it work. It is mostly about the daily grind of looking after the animals and making sure the business side of things doesn't fall behind. We aren't some big fancy company with a glass building. We’re just regular folks working on Becharam Chatterjee Road. The goats keep us on our toes, that’s for sure. There is always cleaning to do or feed to get, and the paperwork usually happens on a small desk in the corner. People around Behala know the address well enough. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It’s just farming in a city environment, which has its own set of challenges. Some days are loud, some are quiet, but the work never really stops. We deal with the locals and handle the logistics from our West Bengal base. It is practical work for practical people. If you see us out there, we’re probably just busy with the day’s tasks. We like to keep it simple and just do the job we set out to do, day in and day out.
