Camac Plaza Hotel

You'll find us right at 195/1, over on New Park St Circus Avenue. It’s a busy spot, always plenty of cars and people moving around outside. Camac Plaza Hotel has been here for a good bit now. We aren't one of those massive glass towers you see in the magazines. It's just a regular building where we rent out rooms. We spend our mornings checking people out and getting the linens washed for the next ones coming in. The lobby is a bit small, but it gets the job done. Sometimes the street noise gets a little loud, but that’s just Kolkata for you. We have a few staff members who have been here since the start. They know all the little quirks of the plumbing and which light switches are a bit finicky. We don't have a huge menu or anything, just some basic stuff if you're hungry. It’s a practical place to stay if you need to be near the center of things. We try to keep the place clean and the beds comfortable enough for a night's sleep. Nothing too complicated about it. We just open the doors every morning and see who comes by. It’s a living for us, and we try to do it right. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but we’re still here at the same old address.
