Avenue Hotel

We are tucked away on the 3rd floor of a building on Chittaranjan Avenue, specifically at number 9. We are near Princep Street, which is always packed with people looking for car parts and tools. To get to us, you have to go up the stairs or use the small lift if it's working that day. Being on the 3rd floor means we are a little bit away from the direct noise of the street, though you can still hear the horns honking down below. It’s a humble setup. We have a few rooms and a small desk where someone is usually sitting. We don’t have big fancy carpets or anything like that. It’s mostly just plain walls and functional furniture. We spend our mornings checking people out and getting the rooms ready for the next person. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when several guests arrive at once with their bags. We’ve had all sorts of people stay here, from businessmen to families visiting the city. Princep Street is a landmark in itself, so people usually find us without too much trouble. We just try to keep the place tidy and handle whatever comes up during the shift. There’s always someone around to help, but we aren't a big corporate team. We’re just local folks running a small hotel in a very old, very busy part of town. It gets quiet late at night.
