We are tucked away on Jamir Lane in Ballygunge. The address is 8/3, and it is a bit of a tight spot with all the traffic in this part of Kolkata. Our business is a bit of a mix because we handle both hotel rooms and construction work. It sounds like a lot, and honestly, some days it really is. One minute we might be talking about a room booking and the next we are looking at building materials or plans. It’s just how we have always done things. Ballygunge is a busy area, and being in the middle of it means there is never a quiet moment. We have a small crew that helps with the maintenance of the hotels and the construction side of things. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time. We don't have any fancy offices or anything; we mostly work out of the space we have here on the lane. It gets a bit cluttered with paperwork and tools sometimes. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done, whether that is fixing a leak in one of the rooms or checking on a project site. It’s a local business through and through. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. It’s just hard work and keeping things moving forward every day in this busy city. We take things as they come and don't make a fuss about much.
