3A Iswar Ganguly Street is where we call home. Balaji Group Of Hotels operates out of this spot in Kolkata, and it’s a neighborhood that’s always full of life. We’re right near the 700026 area, so there’s a lot of local history and character all around us. We aren't some giant corporate chain with thousands of identical rooms. It’s more personal than that. We spend our days making sure the properties are looked after and that the people staying with us aren't having any trouble. You’ll often find us standing out front or in the small office area, just keeping an eye on things. The street itself can be a bit narrow and noisy with the rickshaws and people walking by, but that’s just part of the charm of this city. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide a place for people to stay and try to make sure everything works like it’s supposed to. If a lightbulb goes out or a guest needs an extra towel, we just go and handle it. It’s straightforward work, and we’ve been doing it long enough that we don't really think twice about the long hours or the busy weekends. We just take it day by day, making sure the rooms are clean and the guests are satisfied with their stay in the city.
