Calcutta Art Saloon

You can find us at Fa-1/3 on Lake Road in the Baguihati area. Calcutta Art Saloon has been a part of this street for quite a while now. The name might sound a bit fancy, but we are just a normal neighborhood shop. We have a front window that lets in some light, but it gets dusty from the road outside. Inside, we have a few stations set up with mirrors and chairs. They aren't the newest models, but they are solid. We do haircuts for the men and boys around here. Some people have been coming to us for years, ever since we first opened the doors. The walk to the shop is easy if you live in the nearby blocks. We keep a stack of old newspapers and magazines for people to read while they wait. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a little bit when it’s on high, but it keeps the air moving. Baguihati is a crowded place, and our shop is no different. We try to keep the place tidy, but with hair everywhere, it’s a constant job. We don’t have any big flashy lights outside. Just a sign with the name. Most people find us by word of mouth or just because they live nearby. It’s a practical place for a practical haircut. We just focus on the work and let the customers go about their day. It's how we've always done things here.
