Byloom Boutique

Byloom Boutique is located at 58b Hindustan Park. We are right across from Basanti Devi College, so we see a lot of students and teachers passing by every single day. The area is Godia Haat, which is always a hive of activity and noise. Being at 58b gives us a nice little corner in the neighborhood. Hindustan Park is a place people like to walk around, so we get a fair amount of foot traffic on the weekends. The shop is filled with all sorts of things we have gathered over time. It is not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who come in. Some people just want to look around and escape the sun for a bit. We don't mind. It gets pretty loud outside when the college lets out in the afternoon, but we are used to it by now. The building is an old one with thick walls, which gives the boutique a bit of a cozy feel. We don't use any scripts or corporate talk. We just talk like regular people because that is who we are. Running a shop in Godia Haat means there is never a dull moment. We just keep the door open and see who comes in. It is a decent way to earn a living and stay connected to the life of the city.
