Our place, Burnwal & Burnwal Co., is located right on P. G. R. Road. We are quite close to the Amri Hospital in Khidirpore, so it’s easy enough for people to tell their drivers where to go. Khidirpore is a crowded neighborhood, and the street noise is something you just live with every day. The office isn't very big, and it’s mostly filled with old files and the sound of the ceiling fan. We’ve been here for a while, and the name on the door has been there as long as I can remember. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there isn't much formality. We just sit down, go through the mail, and handle the calls as they come in. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized, but we always find what we’re looking for eventually. The proximity to the hospital means there’s always activity outside, even late in the evening. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk in, and we talk to them across the counter. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We don't spend much time thinking about how we look to the outside world; we just focus on the people we deal with. It’s just how things are done here on P. G. R. Road, without any unnecessary fuss. Sometimes we share a meal in the small back room when things slow down. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours, and we’ve been part of this Khidirpore street for years now.
