Boutique Rupkatha

Boutique Rupkatha is based in Harinavi. It’s a quiet area compared to the city, and we like it that way. We don't have a huge building or anything. It’s just a local spot where we do our sewing and selling. We’ve been in Harinavi for a few years now. The shop is full of different clothes we’ve put together. Some days are slow and we just sit and work on new pieces. Other days, we have several people coming in to try things on. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. Word of mouth is usually how people hear about us. We try to keep the prices fair so people keep coming back. The space we have is a bit cramped because we have so many rolls of fabric tucked into every corner. It’s just how it goes when you’re trying to offer a lot of choices. We do the cleaning ourselves and make sure the place is open on time. It’s a small operation, usually just one or two of us here at any time. We know the people in the neighborhood and they know us. It’s a comfortable routine. We just keep making clothes and hope people find something they like. There’s no big secret to it, just showing up and doing the work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait, but that’s just life here. We take things as they come and try to keep a friendly atmosphere for anyone who walks in.
