Bmc Maritime Services is located at 52A on Beni Nandan Street. This part of Bhowanipore has a lot of history. Our office is in an older building that has a lot of character. We deal with maritime work, which means a lot of paperwork and coordination with ports and ships. It is a different world from the quiet street outside. We have maps on the walls and plenty of files stacked on the shelves. It is usually just a few of us here. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking schedules and talking to people over the phone. The rooms have high ceilings and big windows. Sometimes the street noise from Bhowanipore drifts in, but it is mostly calm inside. We do not have a big corporate sign out front. We have been here for a while and the locals know us. It is a lot of detail-oriented work. We have to make sure every document is correct before it goes out. There is always a cup of tea on someone’s desk. We are not trying to be anything we are not. It is just a small team handling shipping details from a quiet corner of the city. We enjoy the pace of the neighborhood. After a long day, we just lock up and head home like everyone else. It is a simple, honest way to run things. We like being near the city center but tucked away on this street. It works for us. We'll be here tomorrow too.
