Blossom Gents Parlour

Blossom Gents Parlour is over at 16 Bagmari Lane. If you know where the 3A bus stand is, then you’ve basically found us. We are just a short walk from there, near the corner. Kolkata 700054 is a crowded area, and our lane gets a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. The shop isn't very large at all. We have just enough room for the cutting chairs and a small bench for people who are waiting. It’s a simple gents parlour. We handle the usual stuff like hair cutting and shaving. Nothing too special or complicated. Some of the older men from the neighborhood come in every Saturday morning. They like to sit and talk for a while even after we finish their hair. We don't mind the company. It makes the long day go by faster. The walls have a few old posters and a calendar from last year. We have a small sink at the back for washing up. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we always manage to get things done. The 3A bus stand nearby means we get some people who are just passing through and need a quick tidy up before they catch their next bus. We try to be quick so they don't miss their ride. It’s a humble place, really. We don’t have fancy uniforms or anything like that. Just us in our regular clothes, working with our tools. That is just how it is.
