Bengal Home Industries Association

We've been at 11, Camac Street for a long time now. You have to come up to the first floor to find us. It’s the Bengal Home Industries Association, and mostly we just handle things from here every day. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done. Camac Street is always busy outside, but it stays relatively quiet up here once you get inside. We have desks piled with papers and some samples of what we do scattered around. It’s just how we operate. Sometimes the lift is a bit slow, so we take the stairs. People usually know where to find us if they’ve been around this neighborhood for a while. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything like that. Just a group of people working together in this old building. We spend our mornings checking orders and talking to folks who stop by. The first floor has high ceilings, which is nice when it gets hot outside. We’ve kept things simple over the years. No flashy signs or modern decor. Just the name on the door and our regular routine. It feels right being here, right in the middle of everything but tucked away just enough. We mostly just focus on the daily tasks and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a bit cramped with all the stuff we keep, but we know where everything is. That’s just how it goes here at the Bengal Home Industries Association. We don't feel the need to move.
