Belting & Machinery Stores

We’ve been over here at 26A Netaji Subhash Road for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, you probably know how it is on Netaji Subhas Road with all the traffic and people moving around all day. The shop name is Belting & Machinery Stores, which is exactly what you find when you walk in. We keep a lot of different belts and parts for machines stacked on the shelves. Sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze getting through the aisles when a big shipment comes in because boxes pile up in the corners. I usually spend my morning sorting through things or talking to folks who stop by looking for a specific part they can't find elsewhere. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we try to keep track of everything. The floor is a bit worn down from years of people coming in and out, and the walls have that old shop smell of grease and dust. Most days it’s just us doing the same routine, checking the stock and making sure we have what people ask for. Netaji Subhash Road has changed over the years but our little corner stays pretty much the same. If you’re walking past the 26A sign, you’ll see us right there. It gets pretty dusty with the windows open but that’s just part of being in this area. We don't have any big signs, just the stuff we sell. Anyway, that’s basically what we do every day until we close the shutters.
