If you know Bowbazar, you know how crowded it gets around the Post Office and the Central Metro Station. Our place, Beeu Hotels Pvt Ltd, is right there on B B Ganguly Street. It’s a busy spot in Kolkata, and there’s always something happening right outside the front door. We spend a lot of our time checking people in and out, making sure the rooms are tidy, and dealing with the usual hotel stuff. It isn’t a huge corporate chain or anything like that. It’s just us running things day to day. Sometimes the elevator acts up or the street noise is a bit much, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. The staff knows most of the regular faces who come through. We don't have some big fancy lobby, just a desk and some chairs where people wait. Being so close to the metro means we see a lot of travelers who are just looking for a place to drop their bags. The building has been here for a bit, and you can tell by looking at the walls. We do our best to keep it clean and comfortable for whoever walks in. It’s a lot of work keeping a hotel going in such a packed area, but we’ve managed to stay here for a while now. We just focus on the daily tasks and getting things done one guest at a time without any fuss or complicated rules.
