Beauty Art Saloon

Beauty Art Saloon is at 67 M Dutta Road in Kolkata. We are quite near the Chitro Cinema, which is a landmark most people in the neighborhood know well. The street is typical for this part of Kolkata, with a lot of movement and old buildings all around. Our saloon is one of those places that has been part of the local scenery for a while. We have a few chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years, and the mirrors have that slight tint you only get with age. It is a simple setup where we do hair and basic grooming for the local folks. We don't have any high-end products on display, just the stuff we have always used. The walls have some old pictures of hairstyles that might be out of fashion now, but we like them. Most of our day is spent chatting with the customers about the weather or whatever is playing at the cinema. It is a small place, so things can get a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting. We try to keep the fans going to deal with the humidity. It is not a place for anything fancy, just a solid local shop where you can get a haircut and a shave without any trouble. We know the neighborhood well and the neighborhood knows us, which is how we like to keep things.
